we are looking for a developer who can help us to convert our existing WordPress Theme Customizer framework (Redux) to a new framework (Kirki) for our free theme. We expect high quality work, so the conversation is correctly done without any bugs or issues.
Some of important points:
"- if the redux removed, and kirki implemented, users should have no problems
if they install new theme versions"
"- it must migrate smoothly without issues, when user activate new version, it will migrate all settings which user saved before in the theme version with redux"
"- all previous theme installations and settings must work, so it will keep users settings, options , changes etc. as well as all custom css values which are defined through the [url removed, login to view], additional css values too"
"- if you go through all the options u will see them all as they are defined texts, switchers, etc., so all theme options which are available in the customizer must be available in the Kirki customizer too"
"- if users might use the redux plugin for theme options control panel like it's now under
Appearance - > Theme Options, this means, user can use kirki customizer, or when they install redux plugin, they can use theme options panel as it is now, so theme must work with both options, customizer will be still running the Kirki framework"
"- theme is very slow now when customizing through the Customizer page and many options dont work or at least when I do a change, it doesnt save nor refresh in the customizer it's important for me too"
"- if I change something through the customizer view, it should change within few seconds like e.g.
Custom Home/Front page -> Content Boxes -> Icon when I assign e.g. font awesome icon, it should change within few seconds or its color, probably called a partial refresh"
"- also, visual shortcuts are important to me [url removed, login to view] , add them in all preview sections which can be used - blog titles, menus, widgets, sliders, content boxes, testimonials etc. simply everywhere which user see in the preview screen"
When you are interested, we will provide the theme URL in the chat. Thanks.
