We have created an online game which uses a live RTMP stream. We would now like to offer this game on mobile using a HLS stream. However the problem is that the HLS stream requires buffering and therefore the videos do not complete before switching to the next one. The project is only considered complete when we have seamlessly switched from an RTMP stream to a HLS stream and there are no timing issues. All the videos must stream in full with minor buffering. This project will require knowledge of Wowza, PHP, FFMPEG. As weel as a deep understanding of online video streaming.

Streams need to segment and handling in cache memory, not harddisk. It will be streaming faster. Also your buffering problem is relation to network. I have much experience in video streaming. Wowza, ffmpeg... You can check review of my clients.

Hello, Thank you for posting your requirement. My name is Inderjeet Sodhi and I run a small IT services firm based at Chandigarh, India. We have been into streaming sicne 2008 besides other programming and IT work since 1994. Could you please elaborate on your setup? Which wowza version and license type are you using? What's the network speed svailable at the transcoder level and at Wowza server level? Also what kind of delay will be acceptable? There are many questions and need to be discussed before identifying the problem and coming to a conclusion. I hope you'll be able to provide some information. Awaiting for your response. Let me know if you have any questions too. Thanks Inderjeet S Sodhi

Hello, I understand you want to reduce the video latency with HLS protocol. Did you try to tune Wowza Streaming Engine configuration ? I can assist you to edit Wowza configuration. However, if videos are huge, accessed via network, bandwith not reliable it could be harder. I need to understand deeply your problem of 'videos do not complete before switching to the next one'. Sincerly, Tapenade
