Job Description:
We are looking to create a Website and Android app that can assist retailers to use our Payment Solutions. In order to do this, we need to create a POS system.
There is no reason to start this project from scratch as many Open Source scripts exist to use as a start for the project. We are keen to work with somebody who has already built a POS system. We don't want to work with somebody who has not done this POS kind of software before.
I suggest what we need is something similar to POSter see [login to view URL]
This allows Managers to login via web to add products and get reporting.
The Store will use an Android Mobile app on a Tablet in order to accept orders etc.
Once the core system is created we will connect it to our Digital wallet services allowing clients to make payments via Bitcoin, and many other solutions. Its our intention to offer the services for free to our clients and make money from the additional services we can offer.
Important points are:
1. Complete a web based management system that can be used via browser for any Manager or User to be able to use the POS system.
2. This must be a multi business solution able to scale up to thousands of retail shops using it for POS.
3. Each business will have a dedicated sub domain such as [login to view URL] or [login to view URL]
4. Android apps for shops to setup a POS terminal.
5. Reporting via web site. Clients need to be able to download sales and repots so they can upload to relevant accounting software.
Its important that you have knowledge and or understanding of what a POS system for a Bar or Café is and how it works. This will make sure you have understanding of the needs of the project.
