Custom Integration of the Apple News API Using the Zapier Developer Platform

I am looking for someone that is familiar with the Zapier Developer Platform ([login to view URL]) to develop a custom app integration with the Apple News API. This is an in-house project, only to be used and accessed by me and my small website team. Essentially, I want to add a custom app that leverages the Apple News Publisher API in Zapier, so I can easily connect my WordPress website to automatically publish articles to Apple News. My website is powered with WordPress. I'm already an approved Apple News publisher. I've installed and have used the WordPress plugin that Apple has promoted, and it's buggy and doesn't work well. I thought using Zapier would be good, because I'm already using it to push my posts to social media, and the platform seems pretty easy to use. If there's a better way to do this, or a different platform/standalone script would be the best option, I'm open to hearing more about this approach.
