My client has a website I recently migrated from another older website hosting to wpxhosting. The site was migrated to the latest version of Wordpress, but some functionality (sending email to members) is no longer working.
Specifically, the plugin Events Manager was adapted some years ago and tightly integrated with another outdated plugin (MyMail, now Mailster) and because of this tight integration and custom coding, I can't just simply update the non-working plugins to their latest versions.
I need someone who is very experienced in Wordpress, PHP and especially mail functions (e.g. PHP MyMailer) to debug the website and try to figure out why emails are not being sent. There is nothing obvious in the error logs.
We have assurances that the code was working perfectly on a previous version of Wordpress and PHP 5.6, on the previous hosting. The current host will also be running PHP 5.6.
Can pay around $20 an hour but I need assurances that this will be fixed within a set amount of hours that you , otherwise you agree to keep working until it is fixed.
Some more info about WPXHosting (the new host): it is a fully managed service, so there's no cpanel or plesk type control panel. You will have full ftp access and potentially access to the database through phpmyadmin though. Any requests to modify the server settings need to be made by support request, however they are pretty fast to act, so most things can be done within 30 mins.
