Hi! I am an artist and I have always used sites like Etsy to sell my handmade products. I recently decided to create my own e-commerce website similar to Etsy so that other artist/crafters can create their shops on there. I did a little research and an article suggested to get a domain and create the site using the wordpress "Makery" theme and use Bluehost as my host and use WooCommerce and WC Vendor plugin to make it happen.
So I did as suggested, however the site has some technical glitches that need resolving and I thought perhaps someone here can help me figure it out fast and on a budget.
I am not looking to invest too much in this site yet, however if I can resolve the issues and it launches and takes off, I will need someone to work with on a continual basis.
Here are the issues I am having:
-emails sent from 'wordpress' instead of my 'domainname'
-email goes to junk mail when admin email is info@'domainname'.com
-when users add profile picture or apply for shop, nothing shows unless they log out and then log back in.
-when users apply to open shop, their applications must be reviewed, and it says on their shop page "application in review", however notification is not sent to admin email to check and review any applications. The admin is not notified
-an email is not sent to vendors notifying them their shop is in review process
-not sure how to edit the content of the emails sent to vendors when they apply to register
-when user register I've set it up so that they are registered as 'costumers' however it registers them as 'contributors'.
-when registered users apply to open a shop, they're status does not switch to 'pending vendors'
- If I manually change the user status to 'pending vendor' ( which is what should happen automatically when a user applies to open a shop) and approve the pending application, the user receives an email stating their shop application has been approved, however, when they log in and go to their shop, it says shop is waiting for approval.
-No sign-in button on the main page, you have to go to the 'register' tab to sign-in
-how to make buttons such as 'my account' and 'log out' appear on the top right hand corner of the page when a user is logged in
-Is there a way to move the 'register' button on the right hand corner appear below the logo (directly about the menu bar) instead of above the logo?
-when sign-in info is put in and 'enter' is pressed on keyboard, nothing happens, you must click 'sign in' on the screen to be logged in
These are some of the fundamental issues that I have figured out.
Looking forward to hearing from the right person to work with.
