$blog_page = array(
'post_type' => 'page',
'post_title' => $page_title,
'post_content' => $page_content,
'post_name' => $page_slug,
'post_status' => 'publish',
'post_author' => 1,
'post_slug' => 'blog'
This is on line 135, it currently created batches of pages using a
spreadsheet we have that includes city name, page title, and page
description. Page content is on line 16 or 15 identified by
$page_content = 'a bunch of page code and content in html and css'
We want a way to simply echo $city variable value into the
$page_content string, we also want to change batches from being made
as pages to posts for our blog. Currently the blog is the WP
installation in the /blog/ folder so we want to stray away from a blog
slug added to the posts as currently posts we create - the WP
installation doesnt add blog slug. In other words the blog itself is
the primary page and the WP installation is installed in the /blog/
directly so please make sure the batches of posts do not create an
additional /blog slug like this: /blog/blog/
Secondarily we want an SQL query to replace user password in all our
WP installations for one of our companies. Currently all those
specific WP installations (blogs) have the same password. We have an
encrypted password which we want to use. All we need is the script so
we can run the SQL query to replace the user password in all our
installations. It should be noted the user name, and the blog
installation for that matter, are identical in terms of the database
Notes: I think we can easily put the variable $city into the page
content at the top of the page during batch creation, so the variable
$city is included in every page with the value defined in the spread
sheets. Then I will, once we do the first test (hopefully the only
test) include an <?php echo $city; ?> in the page content so the city
name will be included in the page content where we want it to show up.
The idea for this script is to generate a post for each of our cities
we service with city name and customizable title, description from the
