Job Description:
Front end development (mobile and web) has already been completed for this website where one e-book in pdf format will be sold).
Now need someone to complete project by developing checkout page (already designed but needs to be developed)/ecommerce/payment capabilities, ensuring the smooth delivery of e-book upon payment, security, speed, seo, 404 page development, banner design, imprint buyer's name on the book....send email to customer after purchase and other actions....other back end stuff.
Will share exhaustive list of requirements and link later.
A creative, resourceful, solution-focused, quality-focused, and business minded developer sought.
PHP and HTML expertise and creative/graphic design skills needed (for minimal design work).
QUESTIONS:
I would like to know your thoughts on a few (4) of the requirements below and solutions you can offer:
1. To prevent unauthorized distribution of the book (PDF format), I would like that whenever a book is purchased or a free preview copy is sent to a customer, the copy that is sent to the customer has their name on the top right corner of every page. (So, if a customer decides to share a copy of the book with 100 of their friends, his/her name will show on those copies shared with 100 friends and it will be known who shared the book without proper authorization. The text (buyer’s name) should be added to the top right side of the book. How will you accomplish this? Also, this book will need to be updated every couple of months or so. I should be able to upload the latest version of the pdf and the name will continue to be imprinted on the latest book. Are you able to accomplish this? How?
2. Ensure customer gets email after they buy the book, if they signup for the newsletter, and after signing up for a free preview of the book. How will you accomplish this? I would also like the text/design to be easily editable. Are you able to accomplish both of these? How?
3. Do you know how to optimize elementor pro, increase website/admin/hosting speed (in dreamhost)? How will you accomplish this?
4. I would like to be able to see these details in admin: proof that thank you email was sent to buyer, proof that the buyer was sent a download link and that the buyer accessed the download/executed the download (including download dates and times and number of times downloaded). Other details that would be visible include but are not limited to: Product name, Purchase date, Purchase time, Order number, First name, Last name, Email address, IP Address, and Location. This is necessary so that when customers request a refund/chargeback with their bank or credit card company, proof can be provided showing the above information. Will you be able to accomplish all the above? How? Please pay close attention to the information I would like to see in admin.
