I recently chose a provider on GAF to do upgrades on my social networking website and he totally broke my site. He also deleted entire database and because I was at the trade shows for 2 weeks, the most up to date back up i had was 2 weeks old. I've lost 50 members and 2 weeks worth of forum threads that were drawing in 3000 unique visitors from search engines a day. Incredible loss for me, 40 valuable members that are lost for good...
Anyway, i was able to recover most of it from my old back ups, restored the database and reverted script files, but image upload is not working properly. I think that the image itself is in fact uploaded, but the record is not made in the database so it is not linked and appears as if nothing really happened - no new image shows in a profile.
I'm assuming this is a simple fix - everything was working fine before until one of the programmers from GAF messed it up. Maybe it's just something with htaccess... I don't know.
Anyway - i will need someone to look into that asap. The fix itself will likely be very simple, however it is a complex site. And I swear I'm gonna come to your place and shoot you in the head if you screw it up again like the guy before. I've had the most stressful week in 5 years because of that. I'm serious about it. Stay away from my project if you're not thorough and 100% professional!
