Hello, I am looking to hire an experienced SilverStripe CMS/Framework, PHP OOP expert, on a regular basis, to do custom modules, or fix/extend existing modules & otherwise fix/extend SilverStripe. This could be on an ongoing basis, with projects of various size, perhaps every couple of months. I have money in escrow there, guaranteeing that you will get paid, if project is completed. And I have a good reputation here(was RentACoder/vWorker). But I'm all new with SilverStripe Framework/CMS. I can code in PHP, but at an intermediate (or less!) level. I need an expert, who will clearly comment all his code and answer all my questions on it, so I can follow along.
I have an online 'testing' site which I could grant you all back access to, to fix things. Here's what the BID on this first project/problem would be:
( Currently using SilverStripe 3. Might be convinced to revert to version 2.4??)
—Fix this: Using the UserForms module, I created a sample quiz form. In the admin, when I click on the 'submissions' tab: If I click either 'Export to CSV' or 'Print', I get this: "The requested URL's length exceeds the capacity limit for this server" (Instead of sending it to CSV, it sends it all to the url, many hundreds of lines!)
— Help with permission levels (How to create a 'group' in permissions. John user1 should be able to download the csv/print it; but preferably nothing else. ) Other, lesser users should be able to longin and take the quiz, but never see the back end.
— Can survey forms be made multi-paginated?
— Can survey be in 2 columns? (or also, can I set just some parts of it to be multi column, such as just a 'group of checkboxes'. ) Perhaps this should/could be done through css/theme?
That's all for the 1st project!

Hi yesitsglen,
we are experienced silverstripe team from bosnia and would be glad to finish this project with you.. downgrade to 2.4 would be probably more comfortable solutions, since many of modules (we have experienced this) are still not very stable with 3.0..
cheers,

I am an experienced SilverStripe developer who has written several modules, as well as modified existing modules to satisfy client requirements. No problem with extra commenting and helping explain how some of the innards of SilverStripe works. The CSV export problem you mention seems like a definite bug. Adding a user group to allow CSV file download shouldn't be a problem, though I am unclear if you expect them to log in via the front end public website or from the SilverStripe CMS admin interface. The user forms module does not at first glance appear to allow a multi step form but it should be possible to simulate this in JavaScript and have a full length page fall back for non JavaScript users.
