I have had some issues with my Aggregate Theme in WordPress v 4.3.1 (site: [login to view URL]) and plugins when adding an SSL certificate and forcing https. I am looking for someone to look into these problems and perhaps update to the latest Aggregate Theme. I do not currently use a Child theme method so I would be interested in your expert opinion on the best way to proceed. It is just a Developer I'm looking for, as I have help with marketing and seo advice. So there could be ongoing work to implement all seo and the technical considerations that ensue. When I force https, the drop down menus do not work, the current theme looks different (different fonts etc.). Most importantly though our Booking System plugin fails. I have taken advice from the Plugin author and now have an updated version (in zip-file) ready to upload, however I want to make sure that I'm ready to do this; as the old plugin will need to be deleted first. Please let me know if this is of interest to you.

Hello! Your issues are caused by your theme and plugins not being properly coded. Most modern browsers will not load external resources (or even internal ones) over HTTP when you use HTTPS to access the website. It looks like the author of your theme doesn't follow WordPress standards and has hard-coded loading resources via http:// protocol. It's an easy fix, though - I'll just go through all theme and plugin files and fix the resource loading. In some cases it can be done via a child theme, but it all depends how the theme is coded. Not all themes support child themes, and this might be the case in your situation judging by how poorly your theme is coded that it doesn't even support HTTPS protocol. I'll be able to tell you more when I see the theme's code. Cheers!
