I am looking to create a website with multiple pages. I will be managing its interaction with the database and content that will be displayed so I just the need the design to be made with some placeholder content so I can progress with the project. I will attach images to give you a better idea, but will do my best to explain below. COLOURS IN IMAGES ARE JUST PLACEHOLDERS TO DISTINGUISH SECTIONS. Hoping for a black/white/grey/blue them (navy or a lighter blue, whichever is fine)
The website will contain:
-A home page: spanning image along the top, below it will be two columns, the left being larger than the right. The left column will have 4 dropdown buttons and be labelled "Subject, Grade, Type, Sort By". The content within them is not important some placeholder will do for now. I would also like a submit button with them in this column. Basically the user will enter their search and the variety of users will be displayed below. I would like 5 results to appear below preferably with an image on the left (the persons picture), and then sections within it to display the "subjects" and their qualifications. Also, if there is more than 5 results, the user should be able to scroll in the column to view the rest.
To the right of this column will be two other columns stacked vertically. The top will be an image in the background, a caption "Looking to help others?" and a button somewhere within the column labelled "become a tutor". The bottom column will be captioned "Tutor of the month" followed by a small avatar image (circular if possible), and three sections below "qualifications" and "subjects" and "Interests".
Then along the bottom of the home page will be the standard footer, 2 columns of links. Their labels are not important.
-Second and Third pages will be the users profile. There are "students" and "tutors". Content is shown in images. STUDENTS can edit the class (edit button next to them) this will take them to tutors profile to reselect class time. Messages should show message threads from multiple tutors and display most recent message (put placeholder i will manage this). student should be able to reply on this page (perhaps a text box appear where they can type and then press a button "send"). Or they can click into the thread somehow, whichever is easier for you to do!
-Fourth page will be a generic FAQ page. I'd like a bunch of questions and answers going down the page, preferably alternating colours for each.
-5th page: "Tutor" page. Student users should be able to click onto a tutor from their search (on home page) and view their profile. On this page they can send the tutor a message, schedule a class with them (a calendar to select date, dropdown to select time) as well as obviously see their details.
6th Page: "Contact us". This will just have the generic phone number, or email form to get into contact.
Sorry for the long-winded message. I have made multiple websites before so I'd imagine for an experienced web developer all this work should be relatively easy. I just dont have the time to do it myself as I'm working on other projects. Any questions just ask.
