I have 1 wordpress website (live) running. My all wordpress site's contents are on cpanel(Godaddy's). It's shared hosting.
[login to view URL] (This is live site)
[login to view URL] (This is what I created for developer. So that when developer develop, live site does not go down!)
Once admin validate update in developer's site, it should be deployed (committed to live site). and again, developer should be able to develop new things afterwards too. This cycle should be repeatable. I also will need to have version control. In case if one thing does not go right, I should be able to go 1 version back.
I want to connect github and capanel and visual code. When there are changes on either github/cpanel/local visual studio code, other should be updated automatically with version control tracking.
I Will need to have separate database for developer site too. so that test record can be added on developer's database.
I have been suggested to use "Revisr plugin". But I can not save commit on wordpress using Revisr plugin and so on I can not push my changes of wordpress to github. Therefore I failed to use Revisr. (Error: while I try to save commit on wordpress (revisr) it redirect to \admin-post.php. I don't know why!)
so basically I am looking to connect Visual studio code <> Github <> Cpanel all way.
The person who will work on this has teach me this also for my future updates on same thing. So I can change in future if anything goes wrong.
I have a security concern also. How will I share login credential for GitHub and cpannel so that you can work on this!!. We will have to figure it out too.
