We are running an MPOS pool installed on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS with MySQL 5.5.60 and PHP 5.5.9 with Memcache installed and enabled. Our ideal functionality is to use Memcache to handle requests for user hashrates and user and round shares in order to keep the frontend fast and to relieve query load to our MySQL database. What's happening instead is requests for such information are tying up our MySQL daemon to the point of consuming extra CPU resources and bogging down the pool frontend. This project involves optimizing our MySQL configuration so that when our database needs to be queried, the data retrieval does not slow down our frontend.
