Hello, I can take a look at this first thing in the morning (it's just after midnight here in the U.S.). My method would be the same as most performance related jobs. Load the site onto my test server with MySQL logging enabled and find the plugin(s) that are generating slow queries. Fix the MySQL table structure to solve them (or recode the plugin(s) to not need to use the particular query) and then update the files on your site (or send to your existing webmaster, I'm not sure how you would like to handle that) This is all assuming of course that the current MySQL configuration and hardware is adequate. Hi, I am an English web developer working from Thailand and able to help on this project. However I do have a couple of concerns: 1) A cache is one of the best solutions for an issue like this and if setup properly then content changing every day is not an issue at all. 2) Without testing the live site I can't tell for sure but often hosting is the cause of speed issues if on a cheap shared hosting plan. In addition cheaper hosting often prevents server config changes that would be highly beneficial. That said, 9 seconds is crazily slow and I am sure that I can get it down from that, but I could get it a whole lot faster too if you had flexibility on the 2 points above. To fix these issues I will profile the speed of all assets loading and any potential issues while running on the main server. I will then setup a clone on a local raspberry pi which is a very low powered server - my PC's and other servers have too much power to run reliable performance tests! I will profile that and check if results similar to the live site or not. Then I will dig into the code of the site adding lots of useful debugging and timing data to spot where it slows down and then find the specific loop or database query (most likely) causing it. Then it is a case of either replace the faulty plugin or optimise the code. This should get it down to the 1-3 page display second level, however loading all images can often take longer & all sites perform best with cache/cdn/fast servers.
