Order Tracking Mobile Application

We need an application for iPads created that helps us to track the status of our orders as they go through processing and shipment within our shop. This app would need to sync the status of these orders dynamically across all the iPads in our shop. So if an order is marked as shipped on one iPad it would need to immediately show as shipped across all iPads in the shop. We would need to be able to enter orders into the iPad as they are printed. This should have the capability to be done via order number range or via manual data entry. This would show the entered orders as printed for the status. That is the first step in processing. After an order is entered and has the status printed a user should be able to then open the application on any iPad and look up that order and see its status, a history of all previous status updates with time stamps & which user made those updates, and then also change its status. The possible default select-able statuses would be to change to should be: -Printed -Being Fabricated by {Employee Name} -Fabricated & At Shipping -Sorted & At Shipping -Pulled by {Employee Name} & Awaiting Drilling -Shipped by {Employee Name} -Pulled by {Employee Name} for Customer Service Issue -[Custom Status manually entered by user] I would also like the ability to create additional default selectable statuses up to 50 different statuses (approximately). Ideally, we are going to have iPads at every workstation throughout the shop with this application open. I would like the application to require a PIN number which will be assigned to each individual user in the shop (up to 100 different users/pins approximately). This would identify which user is making changes and notate that in the history of changes to the status of any order. I would like the application to require a pin to be entered after 30 seconds of being idle or if the current user logs off. Logging off should not close the application nor should being idle close the application. It should just require a pin number before the application can be used to check or change a status. I would also like to be able to change the access and capabilities of certain users. For example, only certain users would be able to create custom statuses or create new users or select certain statuses or enter new orders, etc. The orders will be printed from a Volusion storefront. If there is any way to integrate this application to pull information from the Volusion storefront based on the order number then that would be great but is not required. Please let me know if this is even possible. Again, not required. I am also open to any advice on how to further increase the utility and optimization of this application. As a developer you would know more of what is capable and what is not and what is advised to include without compromising the usability of the application. It is imperative that the syncing process works seamlessly and flawlessly across all the iPads. We have used applications in the past that were supposed to sync but did not sync properly. This will obviously cause tons of issues if the application is not syncing properly across all our iPads. BUDGET: I am open on the budget. This would greatly depend on the final capabilities and design of the application. Please provide a scope of the work along with the approximate hours for the job with the hourly fee. I am putting $500 - $2500 as the range but I am open on the budget so long as the final product quality matches the amount paid.
