We have a small project for a custom php script to be created to output an xml feed based on a keyword or words supplied.
We are currently using the feed aggregator feedonfeeds to add feeds to a database but are happy to change to something different if required such as Magpie. The xml that is output needs to work in conjunction with the Wordpress plugin, WP-Autoblog.
The script should work as follows:-
From the Wordpress admin, go to the options and select WP-Autoblog.
Here is the ability to add the feed location to use in the following format, for example [url removed, login to view]+Real+Estate. This URL should produce an XML feed by querying the database and outputting it in a format that can be used by the WP-Autoblog plugin. The resulting XML page will display any articles from the database that include the words Goa Real Estate. The minimum information that should result is article title and content, but this will have to be checked with the requirements of the WP-Autoblog plugin. Wordpress will then import from this XML feed into its own database for inclusion on the blog.
