I have install phpBB for a discussion board on a new website that I am currently build.
I need 3 things:
I want to use the phpBB database for user authentification : I need a form in a webpage for members to login, to let them access a private directory of the website (ex: [url removed, login to view]). I would like to use the database of users of phpBB. The web form would check valid members against phpBB database. When members have log, they are bring to a special webpage. When members has login, i want them to be automatically login to phpBB too.
I also want a special configuration in phpBB: When someone post a new message (topic), I want every members to receive an email with the content of this message. I want a link at the end of the email saying: "You want to continue the discussion, click here", and the "click here" link would bring us to the post reply screen of this message.
I would also like an external web form of phpBB in standard HTML webpage to let members create a new topic (message) without using the form of phpBB. This simple form would have a field "Subject", a field "Message" and a submit button. When the form is submit, it would create a new topic in phpBB and the message would be sent to all members by email (with the same link Click here has #2 above). The idea is to offer to members a very simple way to start a new topic. This web form is optional for this project. If it's too complicated or too expensive, I would let it down.
The phpBB will be access by only maybe 20/30 members.
Their will be no guess to the bulletin board, only these 20/30 members.
