I have developers in Ahmedabad India who are developing my price tracking, comparison website and IOS and Android app. The app designs are very good as I wanted but need slight improvement but the website can be vastly improved. The company has not added any merchant sites to track products and prices and this has disappointed me and I am looking for a firm to take over the project, or start a fresh, as they are taking their time and the website design is awful. Please let me know if you can take this on.
A company called pricedekho in India has features I like and it gives you an idea of some of the features I want in my project.
I am aiming for the UK and India markets first only, so you MUST know how to get the APIs etc from ecommerce sites from these countries. In UK for example many merchants go through an affiliate marketing company AWIN, VIGLINK etc. Do you understand how this works?
I have a more detailed requirement document which can be shared once confidentiality agreements are signed.
NO TIMEWASTERS PLEASE! YOU MUST HAVE PRICE COMPARISON and AFFILATE MARKETING and ADDING ON OF APIs in UK and INDIA and understand the developemt of ECOMMERCE SITES. Thanks
Basically what it does is this.
You go to PriceAce and can shop around for products from various merchants. There will be filters so you can shop via products and merchants and price etc. Like a lot of ecommerce sites. Some sites will redirect you to the mechant website to buy a product (most price comparison sites like Go compare and CompareRaja), and some will take direct payment only on behalf of merchant (snapdeal (india)ebay, amazon, [login to view URL]).
Now, If you see a product on an online store or even ebay for say £30, you set a wish price for £20 and when the price of that product comes down to £20 it sends you an alert via email and text.
It will also check in the background if the exact same product is available at your wish price in other merchant stores. (The ‘Comparison’ part)
Sometimes merchants release coupons, so we will automatically add the coupon to the current price of the product to see if it hits the wish price.
There is a merchant panel. So a merchant can set a notification so the if say 50 people are looking to buy a certain product at £15 or above, then the merchant will be sent a notification.
There is a panel so that small to medium enterprises can upload their products directly onto the site and sell their products. Their prices therefore will be easy to track.
When a price hits the wish price then by clicking on the buy button it will either redirect you to the merchant site or you can buy by paying PriceAce direct.
This is a basic description, I have other features I want but I need to know if you have the ability and experience to do something like this. The I can go into a more comprehensive requirement document.
I have put down $1000, but that is just indicative, once I give a more comprehensive requirement document then you can give me an accurate quote.
