Complete the exercises in Section 4.6 in the Python for CTI-110 pamphlet. Save each exercise problem as a Python file and name the file the exercise number. For example, you would name the file for exercise 4.6.1, 4-6-1 (file systems only allow you to use a “.” prior to the file extension). Load your Python files into a folder and compress the folder. The compressed folder will have your name and “Programming Week 4” as the name of the folder.
You work for a convenience store chain as a software developer. You have been tasked to create a simple gas pump application that records the total fuel purchased, the fuel grade and the total purchase price for an individual transaction. Since you don’t have an actual pump with which to pump the fuel, user input statements must be used. To ensure accuracy and continuity, your program must ensure users only enter appropriate values. A pump will dispense three grades of gas (87, 89 and 93 octane), each with a different price. You will need to decide the price of each grade of fuel.
The output of the application will include the total purchase in dollars and cents, the grade of fuel purchased and the total amount of fuel dispensed by the pump. The application will employ, at a minimum, an input function, a processing function and a display function in addition to the main function. This problem will require multiple IF Statements and while loops to operate properly.
