I need someone to set up regularly scheduled product imports (every 15 minutes) from a CSV file on our server that is constantly updated. The CSV file on our server is constantly being updated by our in-store database, so this will make our website's woocommerce store reflect the products and inventory of what we actually have available in our physical store.
I assume that this will require a script and something set up in our cron jobs. I may be wrong, you are the expert. :)
One major requirement: I used an importing plugin that offered regularly scheduled imports. But, after importing, the product grid was never full. For example, the grid is set up to display 15 items per page. However, it will only show maybe 7, or 13, or 3 products per page. It sounds like the problem related to tax:product_visibility or stock_status. The out-of-stock items were being accounted for in the product grid even though it wasn't displaying them. So I removed that importing plugin.
When I use Woocommerce's importer, it works perfectly. No bad spacing.
So my requirements are:
Use Woocommerce's importer
Set up regularly scheduled imports from server filepath
Product grid must be full with in-stock items and no spacing for out-of-stock items
