Smart home energy meter with demand side load management

An electricity meter which has Raspberry Pi as its Control unit and Python as its language, that can control home appliances based on the demand side management. It should include at least two or more appliances like a light bulb, a fan, etc. The reference values on the production should be based on TNEB tariff. The values of each user should be stored in a database. And consumer should also have view of his data usage using any communication protocol. Some components are available.
