travian dboor script issue - php

we have a dboor script of travian , it has an issue in it
we prefer someone who knows the game , but for those who doesn't
this is a game based on war tasks , each war is a thread stored in mysql with end time and type
now , if we have less than 20 war tasks in overall , everything will be perfect without any issues
but , when we got over 20 tasks at one time , then the server execution get bugged and delayed
as we use mutex locker to lock mysql,
we need someone expert to solve the issue for us ,
meaning
if we got 100 attack at one time , they all should be executed instaed of walking through them one by one and cause delay and stopping the server
