1)[login to view URL] (doesnt need to changed)
2)[login to view URL] (can be changed but this is optional)
3)[login to view URL] (this function needs to be improved)
I have a process of working out a timetable for an education company (tutoring with secondary and primary students)developed in cakephp3.2.
There is 3 webpages involved is matching a tutor with a student. The current function works as it selects
1) [login to view URL] Manually select a tutor Select Tutor for New Schedule
2) On the [login to view URL] page set the date range of what current lessons students have on these dates.
On the right side check the row to include the student in coming up with a suggested timetable. Some students who are already booked with the tutor are checked already.
The select continue with next page
3) The selected students are then passed on to [login to view URL]
This function then comes up with a suggested timetable. Parameters can be changed (max distance, to get a different schedule with the students selected.
Requirements for the findschedule3 function
a)The issue is once the time table is created in thefindschedule3 function it creates a schedule based on distance and availability. We need the time also added so the order of students appears from earliest time to latest. Each student and tutor has available times stored on the database.
This means the function will need to be redone if time availability falls outside the tutor /student for the day.
For example, every km traveled allow for 1 min plus 15mins extra.
b) The order of students to appear needs to be on any day by year level- • Prep to yr 8 first • Yr9-yr10, VCE students next An estimated start time needs to recorded and the tutor/student must be available for this start time otherwise can schedule this student .
