We currently have a java program that uses eBay's API to print shipping labels and mark items as shipped (see attached the output word document that is used for picking and packing of shipping labels).
This works well for the pick and pack of orders. However we still must manually upload tracking numbers to eBay which is time consuming. We would like a quote for the development of an ap that will upload tracking numbers to orders directly via eBay's API.
Our previous developer suggested we add a barcode to each order on our pick and pack program. This way, we can scan this barcode to locate the order, then scan the tracking sticker and upload this tracking number to the sales record.
I would be interested in hearing proposals on the viability of such an ap and how much it will cost. Ideally this would be via an andriod ap using the phones camera to scan the tracking and orders. However we are after the most cost effective solution so we would be willing to hear any proposals - a computer with barcode scanning facilities is also available.
We will also need ongoing work in the future on this ap so it would be great to partner with a hard working freelancer on this moving forward.
