I have a site sending out emails with PDFs attached. The current script uses Mandrill, the email service that was absorbed into MailChimp. To break free from the monthly cost that is now gruesomely charged, I would like to switch to Amazon's AWS Simple Email Service, SES in short.
I would like to hire someone to update the PHP script (my own sloppy code) to use AWS SES and to optimally configure AWS SES for the purpose:
b) (OPTION 1) update the PHP script to store the generated PDF in AWS S3, subsequently generate a URL (including a string of 32 randomly generated characters) through which the PDF can be retrieved, and finally send out the email including the URL via AWS SES API
c) (OPTION 2) update the PHP script to include the PDF as an attachment of the email sent out via AWS SES' API
Please provide a quote, indicating whether you can implement option 1 AND/OR option 2, which option you would recommend using, any experience you have on the subject of implementing AWS SES & S3,

You could use PHPMailer class for this purpose. Configure the SMTP part from your Amazon SES credential, and you could attach any files, including PDF, in easy. That's it. One day work only
