Job Description:
I have two small woocommerce plugin that extract some product information from the woocommerce installation, which it saves in woocommerce for external calling. The work more or less in the same way.
I needs them to be combined into one, where I need your advice on how to do it best, and it should updated with the following requirements:
- It needs to uphold to higher standards in woocommerce, meaning that it has to be wrapped in a namespace and maybe also other standards, that is up to the developer to figure it,
- Currently it stores the file that it saves in the same folder as the installation, this has to be changed to a subfolder in uploads
- It currently extracts a limited set of fields from a product, this should be expanded to as many as possible. I have no idea if there is an easy way to find additional product fields in woocommerce, but if there is those should be added, but with a failsafe, so that the module wont break, if the field does not exist.
Also currently I think it stores all products in memory and the generated file as well before outputting it. This should be changed so that it only keeps smaller chunks in memory, and writes them continuously to disk.
You will need to have your own testing store to craft it on, since I can not grant you access to the stores using it.
