I'm looking for a Woocommerce Customization professional who can help to improve the user experience while booking a service we provide through the website.
We modify TV´s. We use Woocommerce - in correlation with plugins like WooCommerce Bookings, WooCommerce Composite Products and so on.
Our goal with this job-request and what we would like to achieve:
Save some (manual) paperwork and time. (Basically automate the process).
Ease the booking experience for the client. Todays scenario: The user chooses the number of TV´s they want us to modify from a dropdown menu. Then they search for an available date that they want us to come to their home.
After they’ve choose a date, they get sent to Klarna Check out for the payment procedure. Clients pay by Creditcard, or part-payment (Through Klarna).
We confirm the booking - and then - travel to the client usually the next day or two to do the job.
Now….The job includes registering the brand, model number, and serial number of the TV that we fix. Today this is done manually by taking a picture of the label on the back, and then registering it manually the next day in the office. We then send out an email ´manually´ with the attached PDF with a confirmation that the TV has been fixed/modified.
This takes us 15-30 minutes of extra time - each day for each client and we would like to automate this (boring) process. The document contains the clients details in full, + a detailed list of their TV(s) with brand, model, and serial number(s)… We would like to be able to have this part of the job automated. By trying to ask the client to fill in these details up-front, during the booking process, or maybe straight after they have gotten the confirmation of a booked date so that we don’t have to do this our self.
When we have done the (physical) job we need to send out a confirmation (a PDF document) to the client with the clients details (name, address, email, telephone, and also including the brand, model and serial number of the TV that we just fixed/modified (automatically using the data filled by the customer during booking). It would be like a wet dream if we could just press a button after we’ve done the job : saying «generate PDF document for client» and the PDF document was rendered with all necessary details like the date of booking, Our signature/stamp, All necessary clients data, and TV info and sent out to the correct email address from the website. And the job would be done much quicker. And we can provide more jobs and quicker services.
