D365 Budget Module BI Reporting Help

Job Description:
We have a project where we want to start using the d365 budget module... and we in accordance need to do power bi reporting against the data. The issue is a lot of the data on the budget module UI is calculated fields, and/or it is hard to figure out where the data is coming from so we can export it to datalake and make available for BI.
Someone that knows the schema and has done this before would be invaluable....
D365 Budget Module fields needed in particular would be Actual Spend, Budgets, and Forecasts... but advice and insight from expert would be even better
