Each week I’ll send you a fresh export of our inventory data straight from the ERP. Your job is to turn that raw sheet into an easy-to-digest story in both Excel and Power BI. Here is what I’m after: • In Excel: a cleaned, well-structured workbook with dynamic tables, formulas or Power Query steps that let me drop in the new file and refresh. Pivot tables and slicers should make it effortless for me to drill down by SKU, warehouse and ageing bucket. • In Power BI: an interactive dashboard that mirrors the Excel logic but adds richer visuals—bar charts, pie charts, line graphs and any other view you feel best highlights stock movement, excess, and potential shortages. The report needs to refresh from the same data source I provide and should be easy for me to publish to the Power BI service. Acceptance criteria 1. I can swap the weekly raw file, click refresh and see every visual update without breaking. 2. All measures calculate accurately (e.g., days on hand, stock turnover, ageing). 3. Both the Excel file and .pbix file are organised and documented enough that another analyst could follow your steps. If you’ve built inventory dashboards before, especially using Power Query, DAX and custom visuals, you’ll be a perfect fit.

Hi, I can build both the Excel and Power BI solution for your weekly inventory reporting so you can replace the ERP export, click refresh, and have every table, measure, and visual update reliably. My approach is to first structure the raw data through Power Query in Excel, creating a clean refreshable model with dynamic tables, calculated fields, pivot tables, and slicers for SKU, warehouse, and ageing bucket analysis. In parallel, I will build a Power BI report from the same logic so the dashboard stays aligned with the Excel outputs while giving you stronger visuals for stock movement, ageing, excess inventory, and shortage risks. I have experience building reporting solutions that are not just visually strong but also maintainable by other analysts. I will make sure key measures such as days on hand, stock turnover, and ageing are calculated accurately, clearly labelled, and easy to trace. Both the workbook and PBIX file will be organised, documented, and built for repeat weekly use. The final deliverables will be a refresh-ready Excel file and a clean Power BI dashboard that you can publish confidently. If you share a sample ERP export, I can start by designing the data model and refresh workflow immediately.

Hi, I can build this as a refresh-ready Excel + Power BI inventory reporting solution that turns your weekly ERP export into a clear, decision-focused story. I’ll create a structured Excel workbook using Power Query, dynamic tables, formulas, pivot tables, and slicers so you can replace the weekly raw file, hit refresh, and immediately analyse inventory by SKU, warehouse, and ageing bucket without breaking logic. In parallel, I’ll build a clean Power BI dashboard based on the same business rules, with interactive visuals for stock movement, excess inventory, shortages, ageing, days on hand, and stock turnover. The model will be organised for easy refresh and straightforward publishing to the Power BI Service. My focus will be on: • Reliable refresh workflow from your weekly source file • Accurate calculations and consistent logic across Excel and Power BI • Clear structure, naming, and documentation so another analyst can maintain it • Practical visuals that support inventory decisions, not just display data I have experience building analytical dashboards with Power Query, Excel models, DAX measures, and drill-down reporting, and I understand the importance of making weekly reporting both accurate and easy to maintain.

Hi, I'll hook Power Query directly to your ERP export — it cleans, normalizes, and loads the data automatically. You drop in the new file each week and hit refresh. Excel side gets pivot tables and slicers wired to that query — SKU, warehouse, ageing bucket, all drillable instantly. Power BI pulls from the same source. I'll write DAX measures for days-on-hand, turnover, and ageing, then build the visuals around what actually matters — stock movement, excess, and shortage risk. Everything is documented. Timeline: 4–6 days Send me a sample export. Regards, Basant
