Hello,
I am new to the Microsoft Power Platform and the following basic project in mind as a trial fun project to start getting into using it.
Project
An organisation has an open API through which it provides access to a public registry of certificate data.
Note:
> this API returns all new entries created for a given calendar day (15 fields per entry/row)
> I have the URL and the API specification which I will provide later to shortlisted parties
Broadly the key requirements of this project is, within the Power Platform, to:
- once per day (say at 7am?) connect with the registry via the API;
- return all records (~400) generated in the previous day using the API;
- save these records in a PowerApps database
The above will use various elements of the Power Platform (custom connector, flow and databases?) to achieve this (and assuming it is possible).
Deliverables
The scope of this work is to provide clear, step-by-step written instructions with screen captures (or a video with clear voice instructions in english if that suits you better) outlining how you would do this.
Note:
> I am not after anyone to build this directly, just instructions as per the above for me to follow (however if you want to message me an indicative estimate of the time/cost you think this would take please do so)
> I may also need assistance with specific questions but that is also separate to the above
