I am interested in applying smart-glass technology to imaging for my business which currently focuses on printing high definition digital images to static glass for a range of domestic and commercial applications. I believe that there is a potential high-end market for using smart-glass to enable screening of multiple images in a given location.
My knowledge of smart glass capacity is presently limited, but I hope you may be able to give me some advice.
What I envisage, is embedding a wifi-capable chip/film into a glass panel which would then be able to project a range of images onto the glass surface. This would enable the end client to change the displayed image according to decor/time/event/desire. Clients would be able to purchase and download new images at will and then send them to the smart-glass for projection.
Is there a current technology which would support this application? What might be involved in developing existing technology to enable this application? If such an application does not exist, what might be the cost involved in developing such capability?
