I am looking for an Expert in Human Resource Module of Odoo/Open ERP. I will need minor configurations (the ones that I do not know how to do) and customizations.
All proposals are assumed final, so please include your best proposal. I have a plan to customize CRM and Accounting modules as well. If you deliver high quality work, are responsive, and responsible, I would like to continue working with you for the next phases.
Proposal and your qualifications
- Must demonstrate expertise by providing comments/suggestions to each of the below requirements (This is so that I know that you have the required expertise.)
- Must provide number of hours for this project, hourly rate, and final fixed price.
- Must give references to projects completed
- Established job history preferred
- Include a demo of your customized ERP system
- A work style that is extremely detail oriented
- Budget decided is final and not negotiable. I appreciate your understanding that if you cannot meet budget, you will not place bid.
- Must be available for bug-fixing for 3 months with no additional charge after implementation and available for emergency bug fixing with a 1-hour turnaround time.
- 10% of project budget will be escrowed for 3 months.
- Any changes made to Odoo must be made through adding customized module to allow easy update. Even small things like adding fields.

- Discuss and finalize configurations required
- Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the requirements
- Fix bugs (if any)
The below lists all the requirements needed. Please make comments to each of the below requirement of whether you can do it or not. If you can, what solution do you suggest? If not, what is the limitation we are facing?
a. How to limit rights of Application so that they are able to:
i. Fill in application
ii. Add documents
iii. Fill in recruitment form and take assessment
b. Set up email so that HR can email applicants (I have already configured outgoing emails, but it is still not working.)
a. Unpaid leave: To be calculated in payrole by the hour, 0.5 day, or full day-->I found this solution online, but it is not working with Odoo 8.
i. Condition: result=[url removed, login to view] and worked_days.Unpaid.number_of_days or False
ii. Calculation: result=([url removed, login to view])*worked_days.Unpaid.number_of_days
b. Overtime calculations (By half an hour and would require approval.)
i. Leave: How to enable Mode change to Employee tag in Leave Request
ii. Shift scheduling for shift employees: My employees have 2 shifts: [url removed, login to view] and 11.00-20.00. They can pick which days they would like to work and there is no pattern. Need a module to schedule shift.
d. Record clock in/clock out: There are 2 ways I can do this. Please comment which way would be the easiest and most cost effective.
i. Import biometric data (My company already has a fingerprint scanner and data can be exported.) I tried importing the raw data from my fingerprint scanner, but this requires extensive edits to the data file and there is a bug in which the time used is the centralized time not GMT+7 as set by user.)
e. Use Odoo for clock in/clock out: How can I prevent cheating? An employee may let another employee sign-in for him/her by giving out his/her password.
f. Report to show lateness and OT (Also teach me to create new reports / make future amendments to report)
