Help me debug OpenCV/Python

I am working on a little hobby project in Python with OpenCV, aimed at automatically finding road lanes. I followed this article: [login to view URL] and it basically provides all the code needed for images.
However, I want to see it working on a video; thus (with the help of the document provided on the article website), but am running into an issue (potentially something as simple as indentation and datatypes).
I tried to google the solution, and it states that OpenCV requires it to be a int32 type. So obviously I tried that.
Anyone with experience with OpenCV that can help me out?
