Python Tech Lead

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Python Tech Lead to join our team and contribute to developing algo trading products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing APIs for stock exchange brokers using ODIN or Trade Lab API. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and mentoring other developers to create well-written, high-performing APIs and services. Additionally, you will be responsible for the integration of different brokers to the Algoptions system through API and report management of algo trading products. You will also be required to manage a technical team and work collaboratively with technical and business teams to identify current and future business requirements.
Skills:
• Strong experience with Python libraries such as Panda, Numpy, and Django
• Experience with REST API, OAUTH 2 Mechanism, Redirect URLs and Excel
• Strong algorithmic and data structures skills
• Strong database skills (SQL)
• Previous work with REST services and cloud infrastructure
• Experience in deploying applications at scale in production systems
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and mentor other developers to create well-written, high-performing APIs and services
• Analysis and design of application interfaces and integrations
• Integration of different brokers to the Algoptions system through API
• Development of specified designs delivery of integrated unit testing
• Investigate, determine, and recommend technical solutions to align with business requirements
• Analyze complex systems and programming problems and recommend and implement solutions
• Design new interfaces for existing APIs and efficiently manage all the enterprise API through a well-documented service catalog
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to identify current and future business requirements and create current state/future state technical diagrams (data flows, integrations, etc.)
• Report management of algo trading products
• Managing technical team
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 2-5 years of Python development experience
• Experience with Python libraries such as Panda, Numpy, and Django
• Experience with REST API, OAUTH 2 Mechanism, Redirect URLs and Excel
• Strong algorithmic and data structures skills
• Strong database skills (SQL)
• Previous work with REST services and cloud infrastructure
• Experience in deploying applications at scale in production systems
