programing simple tools for a cad program with python -- 3

Hello. We need somebody who develops some tools for a CAD Software. The first task: We need a tool that activates Objects within the cad software Vectorworks. I ckick at the tool. Afterwards I klick at any object of the drawing, for example a line.
