Python Script to Calibrate Camera and Detect a Laser Pointer

Job Description:
I'm looking for a Python script that can calibrate a web camera to use a specific area to detect a laser pointer and move the mouse to perform a left click action at the exact x and y location.
Main functions:
Be able to select the web camera of choice from a list.
Be able to calibrate the area by use of a photo.
Be able to detect the exact x and y location in the calibrated area and move the mouse to that location and perform a left click.
The laser pointer may only be visible for a few frames so it needs to be fast enough to detect and process,
It needs to be accurate to within a few pixels.
The web camera may not be able to be directly in front of the screen, so the script will have to account for this.
