I need some FDTD simulations done in Python.
I need a total of 6 FDTD (Finite Difference Time Domain) simulations done in Python. The simulations are a 1D, 2D,. and 3D FDTD simulations: The goal for the 1D FDTD assignment is to simulate two separate codes and graphs. The purpose for this deliverable is to simulate a 1D FDTD problem by first applying a PEC (Perfectly Electric Conductor) without using the ABC (Absorbing Boundary Conditions). Then, simulate the 1D FDTD problem again by using the ABC (Absorbing Boundary Conditions) and neglecting the PEC (Perfectly Electric Conductor).
The first part of the 2D FDTD simulation is to implement the Perfectly Matched Layer (PML) as a replacement of the absorbing boundary conditions in a TMz mode propagation of an EM wave. This program needs to work for any rectangular problem space at PML of specified dimension with same or different step size in x and y direction. The second part of the simulation is to run the same code again but instead of using a TMz mode use the TEz mode for the propagation of an EM wave. These simulations will have PML’s as their boundary conditions and will have a sinusoidal excitation (source) as the input source.
The 3D FDTD simulation basically involves replicating certain graphs. These graphs would have to be duplicated on Python.
