SD Rendering of Scenes

We are looking for 4 different scenes (illustrated somewhat like an architectural or city planning rendering using Sketchup or another 3D program) which show a solar panel array in use. We are flexible about the exact style of illustration, but it should be consistent throughout the different scenes.

The easy part is that the surrounding scenes are general in nature, meaning that we're not creating specific actual areas which must be made to exacting specifications. Rather, a neighborhood could be represented by 50 of the same home, some streets, a park, etc. Therefore, it's our hope that costs can be kept down by plugging in existing downloadable art for the majority of the scenes.

The only things which must be rendered precisely are the solar panels (you just need to do one solar panel and then repeat it 50 times -- in a specific configuration -- per array), the accompanying tower, and a trailer nearby. These are fairly simple shapes, though. They all need to placed with specific spacing and in certain directions. Of course, they will need to be in proper scale to their surroundings.

The four scenes are:

A. Residential Community

50 North American homes (California-style if possible, but not critical), with yards and pools. A single solar power array (50 mirrors, one tower, one trailer) in the center. Surrounding scenery of some sort -- flexible.

B. Factory

A low-rise, 2-storey factory with 20 power arrays (1,000 total mirrors, 20 towers, 8 extra-large trailers) placed in clusters in convenient locations, not obstructed by the buildings or trees (some can be near large parking areas, some near forest, some behind the factory, etc.). Electric lines will lead from the arrays to the plant.

C. Bio-Gas Facility

5 arrays (250 mirrors, 5 towers, 2 extra large trailers) linked by pipes to a low-rise 2 story building, no windows. Needs 2 round water pools (20m diameter) next to it (agriwaste is used for biogas, to supplement the solar).

C. Solar Power Plant

500 arrays (2500 mirrors with 500 towers and 50 extra-large trailers) in a desert setting, which function as their own power plant. It's hooked by wires to an electrical substation next to it, attached to electrical pylons which connect it to a power grid., Needs a huge area, with mountains in the distance.

Your bid should assume the following:

Basic sketch of the scenes for client approval.

Revisions to basic sketch from client

Renderings

Two sets of revisions to final art

The ability to export for Powerpoint, and to be expanded at some point to become a "movie", zooming and panning around the scenes.

A timeframe for the project
