Project Description:
I need someone to join me and help me complete my academic research. The research topic is Cross-architecture Knowledge Distillation between a teacher Vision Transformer and a student Conv. Net. It does not need to be too advanced, just the basic functionality to work and I'll be happy. I have already trained the teacher and student models and I have written the code for the knowledge distillation framework. I just need help in making sure it's correct. I have written the code in Tensorflow but I wont mind switching to Pytorch. I am very much open to suggestions and I need your opinion. Skills and Experience Required:
- Some expertise in deep learning models and algorithms
- Proficiency in working with image data
- Experience in model tuning and optimization techniques
- Knowledge of Vision transformers and Convolutional Neural Networks
- Familiarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Ability to diagnose and address performance issues
- Understanding of techniques to improve model accuracy, such as data augmentation or transfer learning
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
