Rails + MongoDB Solution Monitoring and Troubleshooting


We're about to launch a new Ruby on Rails + Mongo DB Rails solution, and need a team capable of offering 24/7 support, 365 days a year.

Our solution is cloud hosted on Heroku and MongoHQ

We anticipate you'll need to

a) Respond to downtime notifications from New Relic

b) Restart servers

c) Inspect New Relic logs and highlight problems

d) Diagnose MongoDB performance issues and recommend changes to our team

e) Perform monthly health checks on the MongoDB and report back to our team

We don't expect that there will be much actual work to do, but when things do go wrong, we'll need a fast response time. If issues require code changes, we'll expect you to delegate those back to our team.

Again, we need reasonably fast response times, with 24 hour coverage, so only COMPANIES should respond.
