Just to make sure this is very clear... The deliverable for this project will be only a strategy document/checklist/flowchart/whatever. This project is NOT for the actual performance of the tasks that I will describe later on and am looking for feedback on.

I have a client that is launching a new product in the health market. He has directed me to purchase 50-60 different domain names for him. He is going to choose the best, most keyword-rich domain name to develop the "main" site around, and then pick another 10 - 15 keyword-rich domains to develop lead generation sites on, and start driving as much traffic as possible.

I THINK...therefore the reason for this bid request! More details will be provided below.

## Deliverables

To recap, what I'll be looking for in this project is general validation of our plan to create one main site, combined with a number of keyword-rich domains used as lead generation sites ("connected" to the main site after opt-in to the autoresponder?)

If this is in fact the best way to design the "web" of sites, great. If not, tell us how it should be done to be most effective.

After you either validate our general thoughts (or torch them and start over), then we want you to go into more detail. Although I'm not an Internet Marketing genius, I know a little about a lot. I don't need to be told how to create a video or what social media marketing or article marketing is...but I do need the outline of what you recommend for each part.

More than anything, this is so I can take a ton of accumulated knowledge and get rid of the "paralysis by analysis", and just start executing on the top 3 or 4 activities. (See "Marketing Tasks" below for a little more info on what I mean about this).

By the way, the product my client is launching is a new product that won't even hit the market until October or November. It has very little SEO competition, so we are hoping to get some decent rankings along with the paid traffic that we are also planning on doing.

I'm assuming that the product itself doesn't matter in this process, but if you need more detail on that, let me know.

**Main site details**

The client has an excellent Wordpress/Thesis person that works for him, so unless a strong argument can be made about why that shouldn't be the engine for the main site, we'd like to go that way. Although they have their plug-ins/forms/etc that they like, if Wordpress is a specialty of yours, speak up on anything we should be sure to do (or not do). If you aren't a Wordpress expert, no problem - just discuss the main site in terms of the functionality it should have (video? or Flash overview/intro? or some kind of "calculator" or mini-app/quiz to suck people in, etc)...and we can take it from there.

**Lead Generation site details**

We are thinking that since all of the updated, relevant content will be on the main site, these will be small, focused lead gen sites. The landing page will focus on the main keyword/domain name, with an opt-in form above the fold. Enough content to be perceived as a real site by the search engines, yet still a very clear call-to-action that makes sure that it does its job to capture leads. I'm thinking we need a freebie/giveaway to entice people to opt-in, so let me know what you think about that.

I'm planning on using the aWeber account I already have to create the actual opt-in forms, and then redirect people to the main site after they opt-in (and also after they confirm).

If you have any specific templates or recommendations on the opt-in form, let me know. Otherwise, I'm planning on just standard websites, not Wordpress unless you disagree.

**Marketing Tasks**

Once the framework of the main site and the connected lead generation sites are done, we'll want to know the best 3-4 traffic generation strategies (not including PPC - we've got that part handled).

Again, I know "traffic generation" could fill many bookshelves (ask me how I know...)

I'm not looking for a huge amount of beginner information on the specific strategies you select, as more than likely I already have books/audio/video/etc., or can outsource it.

At the same time, I'm not looking for "do some social bookmarking and then build some links and then work on some JV deals..." - I want more detail than that.

I know this might be a difficult topic because you don't really know how much I know, and therefore how much detail to go into.

I guess I'm hoping that your expertise can make sense of this part of the task. Maybe leave a little extra time and part of your quote for followup questions from me?

For example, if you say "...build a lens with links to your lead gen sites and then promote it...", I'll probably follow up and ask what kinds of modules should be in the lens, where and how I should promote that lens, etc.

I hope that makes sense. I'm a little tired right now, but I'm almost starting to confuse myself.

Please let me know what else you need to know, or what I need to clarify, and I will do it quickly.

Thanks in advance.
