I have 2500 html pages with a url inside the code of each page. I need to replace that url with a link I have saved in a word document. For example [url removed, login to view] needs to have the dummy url found inside of the code and replaces with link #120 from my numbered word.
I would like an automated script or someway way to keep the files updated as I add more pages.
Any solutions are welcome. Must be able to run on OSX.
Correction 2043 html pages not 2500. I will need this to work no matter the number of links and html pages I have.
There has been some confusion on what I need done. To clarify.
I have (n) number of html files, each of which have a dummy url in them. I need to a program or solution that can search and replace that url with one from a list of urls. I have a spreadsheet with three columns, column A has the file name we are searching through, column B has the dummy url we are finding (same in all files), and column C has the new url we are putting in place of that dummy url (different for each html file).
For example like1.html gets the dummy url replaced with abc.com then like2.html gets the dummy url replaced with def.com etc.
