I generate very basic Excel spreadsheets via a third-party proprietary query tool. The format is ugly and confusing. I have step-by-step algorithms to convert the ugly formats/layouts to attractive, user friendly workable excel spreadsheets, but I do them manually. I do not know much about Excel, but I like the universality, and having a document that I can email.
However, I am open to other software and tools, and will consider web-based reports accessible by email a link to my clients. I am only guessing at the skills listed above. I have heard of filemaker and Joombla as possibilities.
I am articulate and good with the algorithms. I wonder if maybe Macros will do everything I want; but to me the term "macro" means a "large moth", as in Macrolepidoptera. I have had no interest in technology, and spent most of the past 40 years in jungles doing research. Help me get savvy. If it helps I speak Spanish fluently.
This may be a very simple project, in fact I am sure that it is, in the low tech way I have approached. Low tech, high tech, what the heck--I must stop doing this manually five hours a day.
Oh, by the way, there are a dozen versions needed already, this will not be a one day project. I am attaching before and after spreadsheets. There are two starting reports whose output I have no control over. These need to be combined to form one integrated report, so in the zip file, A + B = C.
Let me hear from those of you who excel at Excel.
