We need an admin to setup the following configuration immediately:
Running Debian 6.0 with Infiniband QDR adapter
Hardware RAID 10 storage space.
Need to have NFS/RDMA configuration setup. (google NFS/RDMA for reference). The IB adapter has already been installed and the latest version of OFED. (already setup with debian 6.0)
NFS space will be hosting VHD images. Access will be within the local network only.
Client server will be running Xen with CentOS 5.6 64 bit guests. The Client server has IB and Debian 6.0 also setup with Xen setup as well. (already setup with debian 6.0 and xen from source)
Your task will be to setup :
- NFS for the 4 RAID arrays within the SAN
- RDMA client access over SDP protocol on the IB network to client target VHD image
- Performance Optimization to ensure best IO access speeds as determined using IOZone. This might include setting certain memory or ramdisk buffers, or other configurations for Xen and/or the SAN.
- Basic security considerations. Virtual guests will be public and should not have access to anything related to IB settings via virtualization of device, if this is the setup you do.
Once done, you will provide all the information in relation to the administration of the NFS server and setting up additional clients to use the NFS.
I want someone who is reliable an dependable and can get the job done. Please do not place a bid if you plan to just follow an online tutorial and don't really understand the components involved. Please only bid on this project if you have a brain and plan to do your fair share of problem solving if you run into complications.
This setup shouldn't take more than a day to complete, however following completion I want you to be available on standby for a series of tests. I would really like to find someone who I can call on for future work as well.
Looking forward to working with the successful freelancer
