I am looking to get a setup doc for openvpn on a centos5.3 clean install server.
I can give you ssh access to a test server that i will be installing it on if you wish.
I need the rpm (.rpm and location you got it from).
setup for openvpn will be
server ip [url removed, login to view]
openvpn server ip [url removed, login to view]
dhcp range 192.168.1.102-110
clients use dns server on local subnet [url removed, login to view]
I want logging to be /var/log/openvpn to see login attempts and to use fail2ban to secure so logging needs to be in same format as ssh logging(/var/log/messages)
this should not be very hard for the right person and take only a hour or so
doc should be like
1-wget [url removed, login to view]
2-rpm -U [url removed, login to view]
3-vi /etc/openvpn/[url removed, login to view]
4-edit bla bla bla
7-open port x on firewall and forward to server
8-verify you can log in
9-verify that failed logins are in /var/log/openvpn
