I have been using SIM(System Integrity Monitor) to monitor and restart Apache when down.
This was working fine for a while until now where SIM is detecting Apache as always down when in fact it is OK. I have tried to re-install it but the problem persists.
I need you to install SIM to monitor Apache and Mysql.
The httpd monitor should include URL aware monitoring (This is an option in the configuration file).
You should setup SIM to automatically restart httpd or mysqld when detected as being down.
An email alert should also being sent to the specified address.
Note this is not just a straight install of SIM, you will need to address the issue of SIM always detecting Apache as being down. It was working for a while for me but for some reason just started to detect Apache as down. I have checked and Apache is not down!
Providers should have a good knowledge of UNIX(CentOS 4) + SIM.
