We have an integrated forward auction, Classified Ads and reverse auction site [url removed, login to view] and would like to make it a lot more user friendly than it is. We only launched the site 1st august 2005 and the main complaints from users (Quote) it is not as easy to use as a very popular site in this part of the world
[url removed, login to view] Is there anyone out there that could review simplify and improve this site for us including search engine enhancement so we can at least be competitive.
We would also like to create a site that has the functionality of [url removed, login to view] to run in conjunction with our auction site. Please view that site and make sure you understand the scripting necessary and even improve on it or perhaps even come up with a better solution for promoting discount coupons.
There should be a section for merchants to be able to create an account and then create their own coupons from a template with choice of designs a facility for customers to print coupons so as they can take to the bricks and mortar shop for redemption and also with a code that can be used for purchasing from participating on line stores.
Customers should be able to search by categories, cities and smaller towns mainly for the New Zealand and Australian markets but further a field if possible.
Additionally, customers should be able to receive periodic emails containing coupons from designated merchants or categories that they pick and also from admin. An integrated message board that can also upload photographs would be required.
We have no idea as to the cost of this project but I dear say we shall find out. Payment will be made in full when every thing is up and working correctly. I imagine that there would be on going work for the successful bidder, as I am bloody hopeless with computers at this level. Hence the admin section would also have to be kept simple.
