Looking for tech journalists to assist a startup with web content. Our clientele is tech dependent but not tech knowledgeable (savvy). The content will address such subjects as internet, social networking security, social impacts of technology, environmental impacts and government issues.
Need writers who can take highly technical and confusing subject matter, make it fun, interesting and informative. You must be willing to adhere to a high standard of journalistic practices citing and confirming sources, being objective and remaining neutral in your analysis. This is not technical writing, its taking a technical subject and presented to a non-technical audience (creative writing of a technical subject). Please send a sample of material written within the last 12 months with a focus on information technology. Although the company is based in the United States, perspectives from other cultures are welcome and encouraged.
This first project will be to help developed a glossary of 60 to 70 technical terms. The terms need to understandable to non-technical people. Next will be writing exciting fun articles on a wide range is subjects about the world of IT.
Note: Articles will be written in English. If you can write bi-lingual Eng/ESP would be a great benefit. Writers from the Philippines, Central and South America are encouraged.
