Medical Education Company seeks for an individual with solid SharePoint skills. Our SharePoint 2007 is having data consistency issues. We're experiencing the following problems and had the following situations (examples):
-- Records that vanish or lose linkage between pages/records.
-- Some records "Last Edited By" field is getting garbled or messed (showing that a different people actually edited it, or no one).
-- Some duplicated records are appearing.
-- One user reports that the Datasheet component isn't working properly. This component is used heavily for mass data entry.
-- Some posts and data edited by users don't appear versioned correctly. For many times we're able or experienced users posting new data and this data doesn't get into versioning.
-- We had a recent data loss event and we had to issue a restore from a previous backup. We need to assess that this restore was done the best possible way and that everything was restored correctly. You'll be provided information from our IT Staff on this event, together with any available logs. We also suspect that some configuration might be lost due to the unpredictable nature of this event so you'll need to analyze the environment provided and react accordingly.
